Code of Conduct

Målerås Mekaniska AB ( MMAB ) har kunder och leverantörer i ett flertal länder. Det betyder att vårt ansvar är globalt. Därav behovet av en Code of Conduct som styr vårt förhållande till varandra internt men även i våra externa relationer till kunder och leverantörer. Vår Code of Conduct skall alltid kommuniceras som en naturlig del i vårt arbete.

Affärsprinciper

Ett grundkrav är att vi internt och externt alltid agerar inom ramen för lagar och internationella konventioner. Dessa skall alltid respekteras och följas.

All samverkan med kunder och leverantörer skall ske så att krav på färdig produkt kan tillgodoses. Överenskommelser och avtal avseende uppdragets art och omfattning skall vara tydlig. Kunder och övriga intressenter skall alltid se MMAB som ett pålitligt och hederligt företag som alltid lever upp till sina åtaganden.

All information rörande affärsverksamheten behandlas som konfidentiell information.
Korrupt affärsverksamhet och andra illojala konkurrensbegränsande handlingar accepteras ej.

Sociala principer

Förpliktelser gentemot de anställda enligt nationella lagar och avtal om socialt skydd skall respekteras och följas. Anställda skall behandlas med respekt och värdighet.
Bestraffning eller hot om bestraffning får ej förekomma.
Diskriminering av anställda accepteras ej. Jämställdhet och lika behandling skall alltid gälla oavsett ras, kön, nationalitet, ålder, civilstånd, sexuell läggning, fackförbundstillhörighet, politisk åskådning eller religion.
Barn- eller tvångsarbete accepteras ej.

Arbetstider skall följa nationella lagar och avtal.
Lön och annan ersättning skall minst uppfylla nationella lagar, gällande avtal och allmänt accepterad standard för branschen.

Anställdas rätt att organisera sig och förhandla kollektivt skall respekteras.

Arbetsmiljön skall uppfylla tillämpliga lagar och regler för arbetarskydd. Maskiner och övrig utrustning skall vara säkra att använda så att risken för ohälsa och skador minimeras.

Miljö

MMAB bedriver ett aktivt arbete för att kontinuerligt minska företagets miljöpåverkan. Nationella och internationella miljölagar och bestämmelser skall efterlevas. Miljöarbetet skall fortlöpande förbättras inom verksamheten.
Så långt det är möjligt skall avfall källsorteras och återvinnas. Farliga substanser och farligt avfall skall hanteras på ett miljösäkert sätt.

Tillämpning

MMAB ansvarar för att Code of Conduct kommuniceras såväl internt som externt. Chefer skall inom sitt område ansvara för tillämpningen av denna Code of Conduct samt nationella lagar och föreskrifter.

Uppföljning

MMAB följer upp förhållningssättet till vår Code of Conduct såväl internt som externt.
MMAB förbehåller sig rätten att göra oannonserade inspektioner hos leverantörer och andra intressenter. Inspektioner kan även utföras av tredje part.
Upprepade och allvarliga händelser leder till korrigerande åtgärder och ev. avveckling av affärssamarbetet.

 

Code of Conduct

Målerås Mekaniska AB (MMAB) has customers and suppliers in several different countries. That means that our responsibility is global. Our Code of Conduct therefore dictates our own internal relationship and the relationship to our customers and suppliers. Our Code of Conduct will always be communicated as a fundamental part of our work.

Business principles

One of our basic requirements in our company is that we internally and externally always act within the framework of laws and international conventions. These laws and conventions are always respected and complied with.
All collaboration with customers and suppliers will be done in such a way that the demands on the final product can be accommodated. Agreements and contracts regarding the description and scope of the project will be clear for all parties involved. Our aim is that our customers and collaborators will always regard MMAB as a reliable and honest company that always delivers on all types of commitments.
All information regarding the business is treated as confidential information. Corrupt business practices or other unfair acts of competition will not be accepted.

Social principles

MMBA obligations towards employees, according to national laws and agreements about social protection, shall be respected and complied with. All employees shall be treated with respect and dignity. Punishments or threats about punishment are not accepted. Any type of discrimination against employees is unacceptable. Equality and equal treatment will always apply regardless of race, gender, nationality, age, civil status, sexual orientation, union membership, political view or religion. Child- or forced labor is never acceptable. Working hours shall be in compliance with national laws and regulations. Wages and other compensations shall be in accordance with national law and regulations or to an extent what is known as an accepted industry standard. Employee’s right to unionize and negotiate collectively shall be respected. The work environment shall be in accordance with national laws and regulations regarding safety and the protection of workers. Machines and other equipment shall be designed so that the risk of injury is minimized.

Environment

MMAB works actively to decrease the company’s global environmental impact. National and international laws and regulations are complied with. Environmental work is continually improved within the business. When possible all types of waste are sorted and recycled. Dangerous chemicals and hazardous waste are handled in an environmentally friendly way.

Enforcement

MMAB is responsible for ensuring that the Code of Conduct is communicated internally and externally. The managers within assigned areas in the company are responsible for the enforcement of the Code of Conduct as well as following national laws and regulations.

Follow-up

MMAB follows up the approach to our Code of Conduct both internally and externally.
MMAB reserves the right to make unannounced inspections at their suppliers and other collaborators. The inspections can also be conducted by a third party.
Repeated and major offenses will lead to corrective actions and possible liquidation of the cooperation.
